HUNGERTUCH II

Nach der erfolgreichen Aktion „Die Kunst nagt am Hungertuch“ in Wuppertal, geht es nun „grenzenlos“ weiter! Die gemeinsame Betroffenheit aller Künstlerinnen und Künstler von Sparmaßnahmen, Kürzungen, Rationalisierungen und dem systematischen Abbau der kulturellen Landschaften, fordert unseren Zusammenhalt und die öffentlich gezeigte Solidarität der Schaffenden. Ob Einzelkämpfer, Ateliergemeinschaft, Künstlergruppe oder Bundesverband, ob am Beginn des Weges als Studierender oder Experimentierende, ob „etabliert“ oder in der oberen Liga spielend - wo kein Geld ist, ist kein Brot! Es können noch bis zum 31. März 2011 Hungertücher eingesandt werden.

after the successful campaign "Impoverished Art" in Wuppertal, we are continuing our efforts "without limits". The collective affliction of artists with economy measures, cuts, rationalisation and the systematic decomposition of cultural landscapes calls for solidarity among the creative. Be it lone wolves, studio communities, art associations or federal associations; be it those taking their first steps as students or those experimenting, the "established" or the members of the upper league-
no money means no bread!

Kunstfluss Wupper - regioArte e.V. is calling artists to send "hunger cloths" to Wuppertal via mail, where they will be gathered, processed (scanned) and published on a seperate website in a personalised manner.
In addition to the open participation in an important project, it is our intention to link the respective artists' homepages (if available and desired) to said website as a benefit.

Wuppertal is just the exemplary location, as colleagues are afflicted nationwide and internationally.

Hence, we would like to encourage particularly those outside of Wuppertal to participate in this project.
